Roy, it depnds what the car has had done to it boost wise, standard they can boost to just under 2 bar on the dash guage which is rubbish BTW.
1 bar of that boost shown is atmospheric pressure so real boost will be approx 1 bar.
Buy a aftermarket quality boost gauge piped into the inlet manifold for real boost pressure readings.
Better still fit a dual port wastegate 3 bar fuel pressure regulator and a remap and get a genuine 18 psi of boooooooooooooooost!

I seem to remember that the pre 88 turbos is 0.6 bar and 0.8 bar on the post 88 cars as standard. As frenchy says the standard gauge is crap, mine read about 2 bar before I raised the boost and it never quite got up to the 0.8 bar on my aftermarket gauge.

Mine is connected to the small bore pipe that goes the the KLR ECU. I just cut it and put a T piece in. That pipe is connected to the inlet manifold between the inlet for cylinders 3 and 4.

There's a how to page on Lindsay racings site.

The factory manual states that a 220bhp Turbo should hit a maximum of 0.75bar boost by 3000rpm and drop to 0.52bar by 5800rpm.

The later 250bhp Turbo should also hit a maximum of 0.75bar boost by 3000rpm but hold it at that level until 5800rpm.
