Can anyone recommend a courier who'll collect/deliver an engine?

Thanks in advance.

All of them pallet freight. Costs £65 though! Just got a gearbox that way. They will supply a new small pallet. You will need two guys to lift it off the van or a fork truck.

You'll probably need 4 to lift a 944 lump on a pallet. The complete lump is bloody heavy, I'd guess 270kg plus judging by the boom of the engine hoist when we took the 944 S2 lump into the garage, I could weight lift 1/2 or more of that in my younger days easily but on a pallet with no straight lift no way.

Thanks for that guys. The guy I'm buying the engine off, has a account with a courier, so I don't have to worry about it now. Hopefully it'll be on a tail lift, so I should be able to move it into my garage with a pallet truck.
