 Post subject: Where does the jack live!

Where should the jack be kept on the 928? When I got the car it was being kept in the lidded box between the rear seats, but surely there is a place for it? But I can't see where it would fit!

Hi :)

Lol.... it fits where your black box is....that isnt meant to be there....

The jack is meant to be in a sort of grey felt sleeve to stop it scratching the spare...

But that black box contains the Porsche branded tyre inflator for inflating the spare tyre. I thought I was supposed to have one of those. How would I inflate the spare tyre without it...although it seems the spare has never been used. Do I have the wrong tyre inflator? It seems to fit perfectly inside the spare wheel.
I do have the grey felt holder for the jack.

My INFLATOR is a LOT smaller black box than that..... and both fit in there.... or did when I carried a spare...

I probably have the Porsche tractor tyre inflator! Never mind, the jack will have to live in the rear glove box.
