I was looking at some Porsche spares suppliers on the internet last week and I found one that does a metal plate/bracket assembly that is fitted behind the arm rest in the door and strengthens it. However I cannot now find it, does anybody know which company supplies these?

Interesting as I need a plate like this for the 944 for both the fitted door card & the spare that currently rests in my office. I was looking at fabbing one which shouldn't be difficult.

i have 2 fitted to mine and they are a perfect fit,cannot be seen when fitted and do exactly what it says on the tin......

Yes that's the item. However there's no option to contact 928 International on that website, and they do not list the UK in the exhaustive shipping country popup list.....therefore preventing you from proceeding with an order?
