 Post subject: Someone was looking for a 16v engine?

Nothing to do with me, but someone needed a 16v engine recently?

Good point, I didn't notice that. Whoops. It can only be a 2.5 if its on a 87 and a 16v engine?

Yup never was a 16V 2.7 although you can in theory build one. You have to question the "Porsche Specialist" bit though!

I have lost count of the number of people who think the 'S' has a 2.7 ltr engine, although I suppose its an easy assumption to make by those only vaguely familiar with 944's. ie

Lux=2.5
S=2.7
S2=3.0

kind of makes sense I suppose
