My ignition leads are all cracked and generally tatty (not surprising being 27 years old). Where is the best place to get a new set?

OPC Exeter don't sell them as a set but individually which comes to £133 for the whole set.
Design911 offer a Beru set (original supplier I believe?) for £72.

Was thinking Design911 is the best one to go for if Beru supplied the originals but didn't know if there was a better supplier I was missing. Not tried berlyn services yet.

Thanks for the offer but when it comes to things like this I prefer to go with new stuff.

Yes, Beru are the ones to go for, delivered price is a bit cheaper here;

I shopped around at the time & Bert was good at Berlyn. Just been pricing up some belts & bits at the moment & was surprised at the low prices from GSF & Euro Car Parts.

You'll be amazed at the difference a new set of leads makes!

New set of plugs are on the cards too as the ones in there at the moment have rusted from the car sitting there not running for so long. Going to replace the distributor cap, rotor arm and coil at some point too.

Hopefully new plugs and leads will eliminate the little bit of smoke coming out of the exhaust as cleaning the plugs had the car running much better and reduced the smoke dramatically.

There are far too many things I want to replace on this car but I'm not short on time which is just as well as I don't have the money to sort it all out in one go.

I'd ring up PCT in Coventry on a whim (www.pctcars.co.uk). For my S2 leads they were the cheapest by a significant margin over the competitors.

GSF may be worth a shot but ensure that they are Beru leads :).
