For what car?

I have a broken 2.5 944 in the drive which I could take the pump off of for you.

Cheers

Neil

They come apart quite easily and they would be easy to rebuild, just press off the impellor and then the pulley (or the other way around) then you need a bearing / shaft ass'y and a seal.
I have got a friend that works for one of the largest bearing / seal distributers in the UK looking to see if he can get the parts.
The bearing may be quite easy and I am waiting for him to get back on the seal.
I will post the details when he gets back to me.

Finally the friend got back to me and says that the bearing would be no problem but the seals are a special and he cannot get them.
Looks like there's no cheap solution !

Does he work for Beldam or Klinger. If one doesn't do the seal, the other will.

You can get seals made to order from places that do reconditioned rams for HGVs. Used to do this all the time & they cost pennies. Rebuilt a hydraulic jack once for under a fiver!
