Firstly Hi & Welcome

What do you meanby an indicator problem? Some of these bulb failure can bus systems are very picky about bulb quality. Worth trying a new bulb from a different source.

my guess would be the connector, if you've checked the bulb condition etc.
easy way to rule out the bulb is to swap it with the other side headlight, and see if the fault follows the bulb, or stays with that original headlight.

As you know, the connector is 'made' when the headlight is inserted - are you sure that the headlight is seated fully ?
you do have to really push them in hard, and make sure the fixing bolt is 'snapped' into place well.
I had this issue a while ago - I hadn't used enough force on the tightening of the bolt, and the headlight wasn't quite pushed far enough home.
Also, have a poke around inside the recess where the connector on the car side is located - makes sure that the connector hasn't coming adrift, and not allowing the headlight to mate fully
and yes, the system is very sensitive to errors !
