Hey all, I just joined up as I just brought my first Porsche (a 944 S2).

I'm especially happy as I used to be a happy Audio Quattro driver until I lost my job, girlfriend and house. Then of course the car had to go too.

After four years of re-building my life including three yours of extensive touring with my band, I now have a new home and decided I better buy a Porsche to park on the drive way.

I'm sure I will meet some of you some day but I'm just happy to be motoring again and motoring in style at that.

This week end I will be taking the car apart for a general check up to make sure she really is road legal and in good shape. Then I'll be removing the roof and touring the land in search of the all time great lanes that I once used to visit in my former glory days.

I'm sure none of you care much about all this but my welcome e-mail told me to log on and say hello so hello.

wow what a responce.

Thanks all and I'm delighted to say that 944 has a clean bill of health and is as tidy underneath as she is on top.

Squeaky breaks though but that will have to be until I can find a Haynes manual.

Sun on sunday along with a trip to the Chilterns for lunch and a cruise back to Harrow.

Fantastic and I'm still smiling now.

now how do you upload pics I wonder?
