Fastest colour as well! Ummm could be tempted, but just too much work needed this year on the 944 :( Ummm could use this & take the 944 of the road for a while :scratcheschinsmiley:

That white one does look nice. I like the 928 in white. There is a fair amount of "dealer speak" in the advert though ("shining example" "ice cold aircon" etc) but he does say that he's owned it for 6 years.

I'm not sure it's worth £10,450, but a pristine MK5 Ford Cortina sold for over £5k last week. And a pre-war Spider Man Comic Book for just over $1,000,000....what can you say to that?

at that age beggars can't be choosers regarding the colour

Bonkers price! At least double market value and there's no proper description of service history other than to say no major jobs have been done! When was it in storage? Unless it has been recommissioned standing around for that long would create a heap of problems.

Watch it fail to reach reserve, and perhaps fail to attract a starting bid.

I agree .... but it might have had everything done to it. There is a lack of info on the ad, but not everyone is good at selling from an advert. You never know :-)

Even if it had, would it be worth 15? Maybe it would. The Ford Capri 2.8 is getting close to that figure for the best examples. We'll have to start buying Jaguar XJS soon if we want a supercar for 5K!

No, £15k never I agree ... that is more than wishful thinking or perhaps humour. But a sorted low mileage example with the main things taken care of would be worth £8k?

What about the S2 on ebay item no. 170458749117. Looks to be a good one. The guy has had it NINE YEARS and NEVER USED IT! He's taken it for an MOT in 2008 which it "flew through" but still never used it....now the MOT has expired and he's selling it with no MOT. Why would you buy a car and never use it?

Would be a heap of problems from sitting idle for that length of time. Far better prospect is a car that's being used, cared for, and having money spent on it.

I agree ... mine had stood for less than a year and I will have replaced nearly everything when I have finished :-)
Whole brake system (and I mean whole!), rubbers, steering rack, wiper motors, window motors and thats just off the top of my head.
