Hiya everyone, just like to announce that Isabelle Norah Bruce was born last night at 00.36 (Thu morning) and mum and Baby are both fine. Hope it isn't too cheesy posting this on here but she's my 1st child and I'm totally in love with her (a weird kind of instant feeling as soon as I clapped eyes on her) and I want to share it with all my friends and I really like to think we are all friends on here even if we haven't yet met. Thanks.
Andy Bruce.

Great news, congratulations to you and your wife - and Isabella is a nice name too.

The posting is not too cheesy at all, most of us are dads - welcome to the club. Being a dad is great.

I know how I felt when my first was born in February 1985 - an amazing feeling, the best day of my life despite the downside of having to sell the TR7 and buy a Ford Granada. Those were the days, proper cars to choose from, none of this German rubbish. I wanted to tell everybody too, but in those days I had to stand in a phone box with a load of 2p pieces and a list of phone numbers.

And I know how I feel now that Kirsten is 25 years old and getting married at Mottram Hall in July - skint! "How much? how much? - I could buy a 911 for that".

No doubt somebody will be along in a minute to advise you on the best baby seat for the 944 - and a club membership form for Isabella

Congrats Brucey, not cheesy at all.
But bringing it back to Porsche did you read the figures the other day that say it costs £200,000 to bring a child up to 18? You could get a brace of 997s for that money
You can tell I have no kids......

Congratulations, seems like only 5 minutes ago my first son was born, I have two sons - almost 9 and 6 now!

I know how you feel!

Don't forget the recent survey that suggests they cost £200k each up to 21 with the most expensive period university followed closely by the first five years!
