This was what I was looking for when I found the other filth!

Does anybody have any pictures of 944 bonnets with stripes on. I need to do something about the dents in my bonnet that some cretin in Wythenshawe did in December 2008. I'm thinking I can have it repaired locally (i.e. where the dent is not where I live) and put a 'GT40' type stripe on it. I'm not too sure if I like the idea so need to see some pictures.

Or is the general concensus that a full bonnet respray (again!) is preferable?

Or have a big breasted naked lady painted on like they would have done in the Custom Car magazine back in the seventies, or a big eagle like Burt Reynolds' Trans-Am in The Cannonball Run ... I do get carried away

This list could go on forever....... add your idea for a laugh.

The stripes are ' Ford racing stripes ' aren't they ?

I would leave it the way Porsche had intended it to be.

Might be the wrong shade of blue though - I like you're thinking though.

The new Sport Classic has a rather nice subtle double stripe on the bonnet.
