Central Region Club Night - 11th February

Central Region's February Club Meeting will be based around a music quiz.

The quiz is designed to cover 50 years of music and events. Therefore, there is something in it for everyone. So why not pop along for a family night out.

The quiz will feature popular music and important events from the 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's and 2000 onwards

There will be 5 pieces of music for each decade and two questions to accompany each piece of music.

The 50 questions will suite young and senior alike.

Entry Fee - None - just turn up and enjoy yourselves.

See you all at the Red Lion on February 11th at 1930 hours onwards and the quiz will start at 2000 hours

To those that came along expecting to do the music quiz - apologies.

The pub had taken a booking from a large party of diners who specifically asked for the room normally set aside for our club meet and we were pushed out by "fee paying" customers which is only fair. The Red Lion have been very good to us since our move to the venue in 2006 so I guess this was bound to happen at some point. The problem was that we were not able to do the quiz in the main body of the pub for fear of upsetting others with the music etc

Anyway we will be back in our own room for March and the Music Quiz will take place then.

Thanks to everyone who turned up - having so many in attendance in the midst of winter bodes very well for the spring and summer. See you all next time
