Does anybody know of a one piece front bumper/spoiler for the 944.2 (ie '86) that deletes the bumper giving a nice smooth look?
Preferably from a UK supplier.

I changed the front bumper on my 2.7 for a turbo one. Yeah you do need the badge panel as the turbo panel is more rounded, and I wasn't prepared to spend 300 quid each on second hand turbo wings, so I got the bodyshop to modify the standard wings when the bumper went in for painting and fitting. Oh yeah the fog lights aren't cheap either and the wireing is different too, I still need to get mine booked in to an auto electrician to get them working.

Hope this has been of some use.

Cheers!

Hi, I’m looking to do the very same thing, I’ve done some research, turbo look is gone cost about 500-700 pounds, Ur need pretty much the whole front end, wings modified or not. Front bumper, side lights fogs, indicators, front bumper strut and mounting, nose panel head light surrounds. Or get a turbo look which will allow you keep the other panels. However the real deal is (pu) and impactable compound, as appose 2 fibreglass, which the turbo look is made from. Then u fitment issues, I brought a rear hop spoiler from eBay and is terrible, far from factory finish and bugs me every time I look at it.

other way is 924 carrea front bumper, but again glass fibre, but will keep existing lights and look but lose the ugly gap around the bumper as the whole thing is one peace, but ur also lose ur fogs unless u mod it.

I’ve found pro 9 2 b the only uk supplier of these bumpers at about £200 each, there is a fabeworks evo 2 which looks nice and gt racing and other brands from the states but once u add shipping at around 200 pounds!

So

924 carrera gt £200
Real second hand sourced s2/ turbo £500-700
Turbo look £200 plus lights new £500 a set

Or just put in the indicators and replace the side lights/fog light with air ducts? weather this is road illage?

has anyone here used pro 9? and can commnet on the fittemnt and

I can sell you a front PU, wings and all the parts for converting one if you want. Have another full S2 for the chop at the moment with fogs and indicators.

Just a word of warning. Did this myself about 18mths ago. Ordered a fibreglass front end. Quality was awful so I sent it back. It wasn't from Pro 9 but I wouldn't buy without seeing it first now. Better a second hand genuine one even if you have to buy new lights.
