Hi andrew,
i might have to sell mine as i have just been made redundant. Didnt really want to but i cant really afford to run two cars now.
Its an 85 lux, guards red, its had a brand new clutch and belts and rollers 2 months ago at a cost of nearly £1500 which are obviously the two big jobs, oil and filter change, new plugs, new dizzy and rotor, plus new stereo and speakers. Everything works as it should, electrics etc, runs pefectly and pulls like a train. Sunroof bag is present, roller blind retracts as it should. New electric window motors.Interior is nice and clean although the drivers seat has worn and the leatherette has come away from the bolster a little and there are no cracks in the dash.
I have spent over £2000 on it since i bought it 18 months ago and have only done 300 miles in it as i bought it to do up and use just for sunny weekends which have been few and far between. It has 111,000 miles on the clock and has full porsche service history up to 97,000 but as i stated i have had all the belts and rollers done since then for peace of mind.
It also has the original porsche wallet with service book and sales catalogues for all the extras you could buy at new and i personally have a folder of reciepts for the money i have spent.
All in all it is a good solid honest car. The tax runs out tomorrow but i am willing to re-tax it for someone at cost and has MOT till the end of August 2010.
If you want some photos please email me on substitutewhouk@aol.com and i will send you some. Looking for around £1895 for it which i think is a fair price beins as the clutch and belts have just been done.
Cheers
Shaun

Thats not a fair price unless it needs sills! Was offered 3K for mine recently! Turned it down. :D Thats giving it away.

Don't know I'm not a trader. Doesn't seem much for a car thats had good money spent on it. Loads of sheds out there & they all look good in the pics until you go & see them. Markets totally flat at the moment. If you have to then...........

ur quite right a lot of cheaper 2000-3000 priced car will require money, manly serivacble items. e.g camblets or tax. i looked at s2 3700-2800 quick sale from a car dealer ship which sold very expinsve cars, figured it would b a trade in from someone with money. looked fine in the pic but up close had damp under the window front and bak and lots of rust, after a few weeks looking i brought my 1988 S from a mercanic in cornwall (360 mile away) 4 £2100 103000miles which was on sale on ebay 4 £3000, resonse 4 sale was a new addtion 2 the family and the owner was in hopstail when i when 2 collect. the car need tax and mot in front of me. cost £300 in train fare and a full tank of petrol 2 get home. so cost £2400. bid end with the reseve not met i phoned him and he said he was sirprized it dint sell as he lower the resver 2 5 short of wat the last bid was 2095. so i offered 2100 and tht was it. the car it self was a good buy drove home 360 mile falutly 4 a 21 old car.
