Hi All,

Just wanted to mention that my good lady bought me membership to a well known club at Xmas..and for several reasons I'm disappointed..and still not a a member.. After two weeks of emails..etc..which in addition have included a renewal demand for 2010/11. I/We joined in December 2009.

To give you an idea, I have recieved 3 copies of the Dec '09 club magazine addressed to the wrong person, one copy of January issue and no other correspondence..yet apparently I have been written to twice regarding non membership payment..my Mrs has an email from them saying payment recieved.

The girl on the end of the phone at said club in my opinion just didnt give a S...t, realised they had ballsed it up(it was on her screen) but no apology not even a sorry we messed up..still says that the order on the c- card didnt have the last three digits.. so why send me the magazines and the renewel notice!! (Stop giving me crap)

This girl has said I need to borrow my Mrs credit card to confirm "last three digits" even though they have continued to send mags etc..and now I have a membership number!!!

Therefore I'm considering canceling...I cant tell you how dissapointed I am. I have been a member of the Lotus, Jaguar and MG owners club and have never had any problems like this before.

I wont mention the club involved but am very, very disapointed..Is it just me-I hope so? "TIPEC" I will be calling on Monday.

(and whist im on my soap box..judging by the monthly mags Ive had..if you dont have a certain model of this clubs car..the monthly publication whilst high quality..will be of little or no interest at all)

Ive seen the error of my ways, and look forward to joining you shortly..

Best Wishes.. RT :(

I think they might be having a few administrative issues at the moment. I received three copies of the annual letter reminding me to renew membership, all on the same day.

It remains a fantastic club in my opinion though it looks like PCGB are struggling with the admin side of things. But let’s not be too harsh lads. In the 15 years or so I’ve been a member of TiPEC there has been the odd admin issue along the way and I have seen all sorts of personality clashes in both clubs!

Stuff all that though – I enjoy being member of PCGB and TiPEC. Mrs C and I have made some great friends from all parts of the country and benefit from a number of events throughout the year. More of the same please for 2010

Absolutely. I enjoy membership of both clubs, admin issues aren’t a big deal.

Lets not turn this thread into PCGB bashing, both suffer from the odd admin cock up. I made a couple whilst I was sorting the memberships a couple of years ago.

I am in both clubs and tell new to the scene Porsche owners to join both if their budget allows.

We're looking forward to seeing you're 928 at the Green Man soon. :)
