I have been making the most of my cayenne through the latest snow and ice weather - thoroughly enjoying the confidence coming from control in all conditions experienced. I am taking every opportunity to go for a drive...
Anyone else been making the most of this weather?
Winter Weather - any cayenne experiences out there?

Re: Winter Weather - any cayenne experiences out there?
yep - driven miles this last week - about 600
changed the wheels / tyres over from Pzero's on 20" techno rims to Scorpion Ice & Snow on 18"s
The level of grip is astounding, both in the go and stop department !
we have a narrow steepish lane that our drive opens out onto;
so far in the first few days of this week I pulled out several cars, including one Jag which had wedged it'self very firlmyl across the road.
I'm totally sold on the car now.
I liked it beforehand, but this week has really allowed it to shine.
I really would reccomend winter tyres for the colder months though - the difference is huge !

Excellent - glad to see that someone else is as impressed as me with these machines. I had thought about getting alternative tyres for winter/off tarmac but thats as far as I got. The continental sport contacts are doing fine though - just with more ease on the throttle....
Although - I confess to a rude awakening in the snow last year - when I confindently got the car going only not stop it before the fence - my fault entirely for not using the low ratios.

yep, it's still a 2.7 tonne bus !
the M&S tyres do help in the stopping department a bit though
not sure if low ratios would have saved you there either

2.7 tonnes! They can really shift for something so heavy. Wonder if the lump would fit in the '44.
