Gave them a call and they said speak to a distributor.

Thanks for thr input guys, problem is now solved! Just been on to GAZ and they are going to supply me 4 complete adjustable struts along with new front springs and brackets for less then OPC wanted for one front unit (which incidentally was £540). They come with a 2 year warranty and can be refurbed by GAZ when required. I am quite excited about this now! :)

Together with my new clutch which is currently being installed my ride should be remarkably transformed for the better. Can't wait to drive it!

Stuart

BE careful.
I have never seen a 2 struts and 2 shocks set for our cars for this price...even the cheapest.

Kit arrived today! Looks awesome. Will be getting it fitted next week along with flo-flex arb bushes and 968 castor mounts. Should be a big improvement on my leaking and spongy sachs units (some clown replaced the original koni's with these) and my 20 year old springs. It will be then be treated to a full geometry set up to finish.

Looking forward to the transformation.

Stuart

Yes Richy, judging by your earlier post I think I got lucky. I get the impression they only deal with suppliers normally.

Hi Stuart,

This is what the top of the M030 struts should look like.

They look lovely, far to good to put under a dirty car!

Yes, someone has taken those off my car at some point and replaced them with standard turbo sachs units. God knows why as the koni's were adjustable and refurbable (if that's a word!).

Anyway, I will soon have adjustable suspension and I've paid less than it would have cost to put worn koni's right so no harm done.

Probably not replaced them with originals as todays OPC prices would see you shelling out £1400+ without fitting for all 4.
Mine had new Koni M030 on the front just before i bought it back the guy whom i bought it off binned the worn ones ...............................AAARGH !

Yes, I priced from OPC and then had to sit down quickly! There is a guy selling refurbed Koni's on e-bay that only need inserts for £69 a pair. I was almost getting them and then buying the inserts from Koni. Koni were wanting £125 per insert and £135 for the rears, so I was getting change out of £700 once the vat was added.

It was at this point I stumbled upon the GAZ set-up and saved another £200. The ones I bought came with a 2 year warranty and can be refurbed when needed so proved a much better option.

Must be a lot of Koni's made their way into the bin over the years!

Gaz quoted me for direct supply a while back. Any reason you didn't go for coilovers on the rear ?.

Hi Pauly

I was given the option of rear "helper" springs but as my track days will be once in a blue moon I didn't deem them necessary.

Hello, as long as you are happy with the setup that's fine, though coilovers would have given more options at the rear.

I'm sure the set-up will be more than adequate for my needs and a HUGE improvement on the current set-up.

Cheers
