 Post subject: oil filter wrench

just bought one of these from local halfords, much easier than fiddling with a chain wrench;

Really useful on a 944 with its upside down oil filter :roll:
Useful tip, punch a hole in the filter whilst draining the sump & it'll drain some of the oil out of it & make slightly less mess.
Another tip when using it is to pop up the headlights as it moves the linkage out of the way & makes getting the filter out much easier.
