Not to my knowledge it is normally clear or black. Shutz comes in grey, black or clear but is used as underseal.

isnt there any silver stonechip paint available? like the stuff on the sills of the 944? thing is the arches are 27 years old and I know once I get in there it will be a case of some exposed metal which I do want to cover up.

Duncan Malloch, former RAF missle mechanic, former NE RO and former Club Secretary had a White 944 that he always WAXED the inner arches. He once had some paintwork sprayed on the car and the sprayer painted inside the arches black. He made them repray the ineer arches white.

Maybe it was a habit something he picked up at fortress Falkland? He was not so fussy with his Red 964 or his Yellow 993.

Stephen

you cant even see it is done when the wheel is back in.

did the arches, rubbed down all the trailing arms etc and satin blacked them whilst I was in there, also cleaned the oil cooler rad and painted that as well !!!!!

If it carries on like this with the rain i will get one arch done between now and christmas

I am very pleased with it, did the underside with black waxoyl a month or so ago, the arches had silver paint in them so i will keep it that way, you couldnt see the silver when I started though. Nice to de rust the front suspension parts including painting the strut nice and black again.

why do the discs look rusty so quickly????? they were ok on friday.
