Guys
While replacing the seats in my 928. Caught and scratched the handbrake with a seat runner, Its a brushed Alloy one from type 911. Does anyone know if/how it can be fixed?

It might be worthwhile finding a local metal polisher and asking if they are able to do anything with it. I can't think of anyone off hand, but I'll have a look at the finish on Sunday and then ask the engineering company who we use at work if they can suggest anyone.

u can remove a scratch from metal with wet and dry (use it dry though) of various grades.. finishing with anythin upto 2500 grit and polish for a perfect mirror like finish. be prepared to invest plenty hours though
