Hi All

I have Litronics on my C4 and they are great. Only problem is, I have fallen in love with a GT3 CS and it doesn't!

Obviously £2k for a proper Porsche conversion isn't going to happen, so what have others done to get HID for sensible money?

easy conversion - should not have to pay more than around £120-130 now. Mine never had a problem with MOT time either and are great.

Thanks Paul. I'm looking at http://www.aceparts.com/xenon-hid/hid-upgrade-kit.htm

but I see they only supply 5000K bulbs - aren't your 6000K?

Any other recommendations for suppliers?

The Factory Fit Bi-Xenons are 4300. Depends if you want that extra blue tint.

The Guy's name is Alan

alan@aceparts.com
0208 0905 333

I arranged the Tipec discount with him a few months back

He used to sell these for £175 on the website and £125 for Tipec members
I see he now has them at £125 on the website, so not sure how much discount now

So are you PXing the C4 ?
or selling it private ?

I hope you know you're gonna p*ss a certain Mr Pig off with your new purchase :D

I can see a Widow Maker heading towards Reading in the near future

He'll have to convince Kerry that it won't make her a widow first

Hi - don't know if you've gone ahead yet, but I've just done 2 conversions
bought Bosch units off of Ebay (China, obviously...) for £50 delivered !
delivery was 3 days from payment - very quick
Nice quality too
they do 4300K units - you just spec the temp you want
If you need the details, let me know
David

Thanks anyway, but I bought the aceparts units before I even took delivery of the car! They were fitted this afternoon and whilst the beam pattern isn't as good as the genuine Litronics ones, it's a very worthwhile upgrade.

Interesting article. I'm fairly confident that the ones I fitted to mine will be OK, but as a mate has an MOT garage I might just get them checked.

That is the thing that is proving difficult :(

I've told her that it's just rich people with no brains (footballers) buying the most expensive 911 and not being able to handle them. I'll be fine because I'm a poor person :D
