Boxster Wheels On A 944S2

Hi. Can anyone tell me if boxster 16" alloys will fit straight on to a 944 S2? The tyre sizes are all the same but not 100% sure they will fit as i dont know much about wheels (offset, etc).

Never mind, I lost the auction on ebay. Someone got a bargain, £155 for the alloys with unused Michelin Pilot SX tyres all round.

I have the Carrera 2 17" wheels which are the same as the Boxster wheels which seem to fit fit. I understand that Lindsay on this forum has those wheels fitted onto his 944 Venteiler 16v.

Don't be too upset, I think you would have needed spacers all round on those wheels as they are narrower than the standard S2 ones (I've never liked them on 944's either )

no mine are 16 inch cup 1's off a 968

They certainly DONT fit a turbo

I appreciate that this is an old post, but in case anyone is wondering what these look like on a 944, here's mine as purchased with 6s on the front and 7s on the rear...



They won't be on there for long, as they are without spacers, and therefore not correct for the car. Plus, they also look wrong to my mind, and will soon be replaced by a set of nice original D90s !!

Don't forget they should be 7 inch on the front and 8 inch on the back

Don't worry, 7J fronts and 8J rears already sourced and being refurbed . I am sure that they will fill out the arches much better than the Boxster ones do .
