The Old girl has been at Porscheshop this week and had a 6,000 mile service and a change of belts and tensioner gear. Mark rang me and said everything was in good order except the Distributor Cap and Rotor Arm so both were changed at his suggestion

The car feels a lot more responsive as a result and I'm now regretting more the decision to move on and let he go to a new home :(

Anyway - got to sort a front end respray now and she'll be ready for sale

Paul

Reconsider mate.
944's are better for smaller roads and in the town than a 928. You know it will feel like you have lost an arm.

Its worth more than you will ever get for it. Dealers still asking top doller. Wont be worth a penny more with the front end resprayed either. Keep it if I were you. The best will go up in a year or two. Just got back from Kendal. Disgusting weather. Wind & rain. The '44 was supreme. Cruising effortlessley at speeds that would have been madness in an ordinary car. :bounce:
