Had a chance to drive this last weekend on our WOTY and have to say the car absolutely flew :D
Set off with three 911's behind me but I checked the rear view mirror after about 1.5 miles and they were nowhere to be seen :dontknow:

Anyway - great driving roads if you ever get the opportunity :love4:

Paul

We drove it a few years back on a Speedster weekend, it was wet so we were in the cabby.

We were overtaking the bikes and had to wait a good few minutes for the rest of the gang to catch up.

We were one of the three, and we (in the oldest car on the WOTY) got stuck behind a slower model being driven by someone called Paul. Methinks he was scared of getting above 60 - the legal speed limit on those roads

I've driven the thing a lot.

I'd be surprised if I couldn't keep up with any type of machinery on those roads :D

Bud - that's probably because you haven't got your seat high enuf!! On the 928 you should be able to raise the seat height electronically - then again thinking about it that switch probably stopped working years ago. Try sitting on a cushion from the lounge then you will see much better through your mirror and find, obviously, that you had not dropped the 911s at all

Seats all working fine and rear visibility perfect (without cushion) - its just the other cars were too slow :D You should've come along on this cos we had a great weekend

Yep - heard you had a good weekend. We were doing our road trip though. Eight countries, 3000 miles and lots of fun

I'm glad someone else asked :-) I was thinking the same ... I think it must be a decent roads somewhere? I thought it was a new Mitsubishi at first.

Sorry Guys

Get out a decent road atlas and find Llangollen on the A5.

Trace the A5 west towards the coast until you find Cerrigydrudion. This is the start of the triangle. Follow A5 until you reach Pentrefoelas and then turn right onto the A543. Follow to just beyond Bryn Trillyn and then turn right onto the B4501 back to Cerrigydrudion.

I would also recommend the A4212 from Trawsfynydd to Bala

:D
