Im having problems with the revs sticking at around 2k

when i start up its fine however when the engin gets warn its seems to stick not sure what this is when i rev the engine it sometimes goes back to normal 1k, however if im travelling at revs about 4k the revs sometimes drop straight away, without slowly retuning back to normal 1k or sticks at 2k.
if any any one has any info so i can get this fixed.

cheers

Either an air leak on the myriad of vacum pipes or more likely the ICV or Idle Control valve stuck. It probably just needs cleaning but is under the inlet manifold so difficult to get at.
