Hi All,

Does anyone know how many litres of oil I need to do a change?
Also - anything unusual that I should know before attempting what should be a simple job?!

And - how easy is it to change the oil in the gearbox and water/coolant?

Hi Paul

Oil = 7.5 ltrs Of Full synthetic....I use 15/50 as 0/40 is really too thin for an older 928...

Coolant = 16 ltrs...you need 8 ltrs of pure anti freeze and 8 of water in a 50/50 mix....

Auto box = 8 ltrs total but you will only get around 6 ltrs in for a change....

Auto diff = 2.7 ltrs....

You should fit a new crush washer for the oil drain.

p/n 900.123.118.30 but it's just a 22 x 27 so you should be able to find it elsewhere.

Believe you have to fit a new gasket, filter and washers when you change the transmission oil? That's what's in the tranny service kit anyway.
