Hi, I am Chas and joined up a short while ago, but did not go to the liberty of giving myself an introduction, so I felt now was around time.

Over my 7 years of driving I have driven quite a few things (from Kas, MGs, Peugeots, Volvos to an Escort Cabriolet (not my finest hour!)) and now I have one of the cars that I have wanted for quite a while, but with my circumstances becoming slightly more permitting for owning one. Previous car to this was a Peugeot 306 GTi-6.

So without further ado, here are some pics of the new purchase.

Compared to the GTi-6 it is more fun to drive and IMO quicker despite not having 'much' more power (I am putting it down to the more linear delivery of power). It has 1 major issue to sort but so far it has racked up the miles well and provided a sense of enjoyment with its drive :).

Mods include 996 Alloy wheels (or so the part numbers say), Cup mirrors and braided brake lines in addition to a leather interior.

Thanks for the warm reception.

And it seems that we have some keen eyes here. That is indeed St. Mary's Church in Warwick. The other shots were taken in Chesterton just outside Warwick.

As for where I am based, I am from Warwick, but some Coventry members may have seen the car there.

Hopefully I may see some of you at Atherstone depending on time and fitting things in :).

Hi Chas,

Welcome aboard. The S2 looks very tidy to say the least.

St Mary's location very familiar as I'm down the road in Stratford, but in fine weather often found with my kids in St Nick's park!

Will be at Atherstone so hope to meet you there if you make it.

Adrian

Cheers for the kind comments. She's not too bad for a daily (or it is for now):)

Will you be convoying up at all Adrain? I am aiming to get there just before 10, going up in my car and a mate in his Dolly Sprint.

if you are coming to atherstone, the organisers want the cars parked up by 930, so if you get there at 10 ish you might not get in
