 Post subject: oil leak

found my oil leak, it is from one of the pipes that run up by the drivers wheel behinde the wheel cover.. there are 3 pipes all stell , one pipe as a plastic clear tube joining the steel tubes together ..so i guess it is coming from there, the clear tube is not hold on by any clips..so why it is there, not sure..were does the oil go..( apart from on my floor)..and can you get replacment parts..or will washer tubing do the same job..and is it a case of cutting the old one of and pushing a new one on...

Mine doesn't have any plastic! Think its the cooler from the power steering pump return line. Looks like it's made up of brake pipe on mine but I never checked as it's ok on mine. Looks like somebodys bodged yours! At least it's easy to get at.
