My shiny 996

Post by sabrerallye »

Just had my car detailed and really happy with the results.

Here is the car as it went to Clean Detail
Image
First job was to give the car and the wheels a wash, After that the wheels were removed ready to delivery to Danum Powder Coating for a full Refurb and Powder Coat.

After that, It was time to clay the car, This is the clay after the first front wing (Drivers Side)
Image
Then the car was washed again, Then masked ready for correction.

This is half way through correction on the front wing

and this was the results after the correction, but before the wax layers.

Again, this is the result of the rear wing after correction, But before the wax layers.
Image

He then masked off a rear wing, so you can clearly see the before and afters on the same wing.

Then the same wing after full correction, But before the wax layers

And the roof after correction

The bonnet after correction

Then, British weather did its best, Just after full car correction and the first layer of Wax.

The wheels after refurb and new bolts

The finished product...

Now all I need to do is keep her that way.

That looks a lot of work to wipe the rain drops off
On a more serious note it looks like my Jag needs that level of treatment after washing it yesterday.
Mind you the wheels were so evil it took me 10 minutes each wheel with a pan scrubber getting the brake dust off.

At the end of the day it is the daily driver so I just don't get time to keep it clean, apart from having to park in car parks where people ding it.

pan scrubber !!!! sitting comfortably, best thing i've found is mr muscle oven cleaner, spray and leave on for about 5-10 mins, use an old toothbrush on the stubborn dust, and it just washes off with a hose pipe

The Jag has multi bladed wheels, I think 18 vanes. I'd run out of wheel cleaner & the pan scrubber was one of these double sided plastic efforts so not a brillo pad! Each wheel was taking around 10 minutes of work.

Hi guys,

Thought id pop in and say hi, After Steve told me about posting up the pics.

I love to see what feedback i get off other people. So here i am

The company belongs to me, This is my part time job, as in my Online store, where we sell the products we use. As we aim to be the cheapest in the uk. As its not always about making loads of profit.

Anyway, if you have any questions give me a shout.

I can give anyone a personal quote for there car if they wish.

I had the car over a week, as the wheels were sent for powder coating, which give me time to give her several wax's as you should leave around 24h before adding another layer.

All the very best,
Nick
