Just picked up a stone chip on my windscreen (Boxster). Damn thing split across about 6 inches - buggah! :roll:

Insurance claim - new screen £70 excess, not so bad.

Yet Autoglass asked me three times if I was sure I wanted to go through the insurance - they quoted £1,230.

Mmmmm, I love conundrums - should I go through insurance at £70, or not bother???? Well.........I had to think about that one! :lol:

great isn't it....

watch out for creaks on re-installation;

I'm on my second in 2 weeks on the 996, and the bugger still creaks.

round 3 tomorrow.....

Graham, make sure that you take pics of before & after around the windscreen. Some of the windscreen fitters ain't none too careful!
