I feel I need to upgrade my Brakes on my 1988 930 Again!
Already put the front calipers on the rear & upgrade the fronts to 993 Rear calipers.
NITRAC Discs fitted " frozen solid Cryogenic Treatment Service " to make them harder, also road/race pads fitted. Race brake fluid braided hoses & air cooling ducts.
cannot fit larger Discs as I still want to run on 16" Fuchs!

Any Ideas on larger caliper that will fit on standard size discs / caliper with more pots? perfered standard Porsche caliper for the front, Then I can move my fronts to the rear again???

EEEK! I'd suggest a chat to someone like Autofarm or Parr. Is this for track or road use?

awesome power.....

Im running knowhere near that at 350bhp from an NA engine. However, I upgraded the master cyclinder to 930 turbo, the fluid to castro SRF, and Brembo (Gran turismos) GTPL's calipers and discs to fit under 16 inch fuchs.

here's a little more here:

928 S4 calipers are the same as 993 rears

This set up is a proven upgrade

"The S4 caliper upgrade for the 930's is an excellent and easy way to increase stopping power for your 930. By changing the front calipers only, the surface area per brake pad is increased from 6.6 sq. inches to 10 sq. inches per pad. Multiplied by four pads, this equals 40 sq. inches verses 26.4 sq. inches stock. This is a 52% increase in braking power, Front to rear helps settle the car with no rear lock up."

Sorry this is from a American web site, sq inches but you get the idea!

Fluid upgrade to full silicon race, + watching my brake points a little more
