944 Turbo S get together Tatton Park 22nd & 23rd August

As some will have noticed a few of us have been trying to organise a bit of a get together of the Turbo S cars. Well it looks like we have managed to agree on one meeting although there could be another later in the year. So it is going to be.........

August 22nd and 23rd at Tatton Park, Cheshire.

The Cheshire and Staffs RO has agreed to give us some free passes and could even make a bit of a feature of the cars on the weekend. So if you own a Turbo S please come along for a bit of a chin wag.

Below is the RO's post on the other thread. Notice his promise to bring the BBQ!

I ride a motorbike and drive an S2 so I am used to discrimination, however I would have thought with the falling attendances at events any Porsche would have been welcome.

Of course all TIPEC members would be welcome, with a Lux, S2, front, rear or mid engined. If any member wanted to go to the show all they have to do is get in contact with Steve and ask about a spare pass, I'm just trying to get a few extra Turbo S cars there aswell. Sorry didn't mean to offend anyone. :oops:

As I said before Ben, I think any TIPEC member is welcome. When you know if your free I can ask our RO if there's a spare pass or you can contact him. His name is Steve and his user name is tiptoptech
