Hi All,

I'm helping a make get their lovely little Mini sorted out for the MOT. The door skin bottoms have (as usual) rusted through and are going to need replacing before the MOT at the end of August. Can anyone recommend a good place to get the doors re-skinned and primed (if not painted fully)? It's a late 90's 1.3i with a hard to describe dark metallic green paint job (not quite metallic british racing green - there's a bit more turquoise in it!). So if you've had some paint work done anywhere near Tynemouth near Newcastle, or in Tyne & Wear and were totally chuffed with the finish then please let me know who you used.

Hi I have always used Pride and Joy in Middlesbrough 01642 244133 just off Greta Street for work on my S2 and they do a very good job, prices aren't bad either but they usually have a lot of work on so you need to book in advance.

Looks like we're going to use a guy called John Lane that Tom Ferguson recommended to us. I'll keep you posted.
