Acquitted itself very well on French trip on tonight's Top Gear, but painful to watch i being bashed on the ice track! No problems at all apart from losing a wheel weight.

Was tongue in cheek re losing a wheel weight!

I don't think we can count on Top Gear for an insightful or accurate assessment of a car old or new! My kids love it though.

The three stooges are all about entertainment not real life.
What got me was the S2 had even more rust than ones I have seen breaking.

Agree, wouldn't take a blind bit of notice of there 'reviews' or 'comments' on any car but the stories are good entertainment. With Stig or no Stig a Twingo couldn't possibly keep up with any of those cars unless a lot of the Horses have bolted from the stables in them :x

Still prefer Fifth Gear for real reviews

Not sure that was the real Stig driving the Twingo. Looked like he had eaten all the pies.

Perhaps it was Le Stig from the French version of Top Gear.

The race 'sponsors' on the sides of the cars made me laugh and I'm sure Hampster mispronounced Panis' name.
