Id be extremely interested to see photographs of the RC cage installation, especially the mounting locations.

I will take some photos tomorrow of the cage in the 944 and the mounting locations on the 924 it came out of.

Its a roll centre bolt in cage the rear hoop bolts through the rear wheel arches and requires plates welding at the side of the rear seats to bolt it down, the front half bolts through the floor by the inner cills.

Any reason in particular so I dont take useless photos?

Id like to see what a RC cage looks like, if you know what I mean? Paticularly where the feet actually mount. I intend to buy a RC cage this time, but Im only really familiar with SD and Matter cages. I realise that the RC cage isnt as well thought out as the Safety Devices kit, but its a good deal cheaper too...

If it isnt too much trouble then Id appreciate some 'scene views' as well as some close-ups showing the mountings in better detail.

Only had a chance to take these so far what with the track day and straight back to work after. I will get some more pics this week.

I have always used roll centre cages and never had a problem, they have always fitted and are approved for motorsport etc. Dont the custom cages come as a kit that you have to weld together yourself?
