can anyone supply a picture that shows the layout of the belts and stuff in situ. would just like to give it to my mechanic for reference, when he changes mine.

I'd suggest downloading the relevant Porsche manual from Rick Cannells site (do a google), I'm working so no access to my home links.

I'd make another point that if your mechanic needs a picture, that he doesn't know what he's doing & I wouldn't be letting him near a 944 especially an S2!
Also you need to check the slippers & camchain if this is the first time it has been done since you bought it.

this bloke is proper old school, and builds engines in his sleep. i wouldn't trust anyone else tbh. he will probably laugh at me for giving him the info, but it will make me feel better
