Southern Region are planning a drive to Portland Bill on Sunday 14th June, starting and ending at our usual venue, the True Lovers Knot.

The route is approximately 90 miles:

The energetic can climb up the lighthouse (admission charged):

We will leave the TLK at 10:00am and have lunch in Portland. Bring a picnic or there is a cafe there and a pub.

Please let me know if you intend to join us.

Great drive down, Thanks to Jim, and Nick for leading at a brisk pace  Lovely weather and views. Couple of shots of the cars parked down below from the top of the lighthouse all 153 steps high

It looks like you had a great day for it.

Why is the beech so empty? I would have thought with the weather it would have been packed.

Andy

I was wondering where the hill was when you sent me the pics for inclusion in the video!

Hope your little daughter likes it. I tried to make it a bit different and fun for her to show her friends.

I'll post the link after it's uploaded today hopefully.

Have uploaded one video from Sunday at

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JtHYQbubff8

I had to split the stuff up as youtube complained, so Portland - The Movie 2, and possible another one will be up when I have the energy to push any more buttons.

I think it would be nice if Tipec grabbed some YouTube accounts for Regions to upload any videos of events
