I was given a real treat at the Scottish meet on Wednesday.

Spud, who owns a lovely 944turbo, took me out for a little blast and all i can say is I WANT ONE........

And if that wasn`t good enough, i was then to enjoy the power of a 1990 928GT courtesy of it`s owner Jason.

Who cares about running costs? The 928 is a spectacular car in my opinion.

But for the moment i think i will try and sell my 944s2 and buy a 944turbo (250).

Thanks again Spud and Jason.

Martin

Good for you, this is one of the things club membership is about in my opinion.

But be warned it is a slippery slope to multiple Porsche ownership, carry on this way & you'll have a collection to rival Sean or Helens!

I know where there is a neglected 928 which is just begging to be dragged back to TR7V8 Towers & being brought back to life

My two favourite Porsche's and I am now lucky enough to now own a 944 Turbo SE but I'm like you the allure of a V8 soundtrack is very inviting and with the club meets there are always people willing to help remind you of it :) Keep on saving eh? :D
