Curborough Sprint day - 9th September

Post by PaulPSB »

Hi Folks

I am delighted to announce we have been able to secure a date for our planned Sprint Day event at Curborough. This year's event will be on Wednesday 9th September.
Our last visit to Curborough in 2007 was probably one of the best events we have held - an absolutely stunning day out and not to be missed.

Circuit will open around 9.15am and we will walk the circuit and have a short safety briefing from 9.40am before the track opens at 10am.

10am until 1pm track available for use

1pm - 2pm lunch

2pm - 5pm track available

Only one car on the track at a time. No noise limit.

Arms and legs must be covered and helmets must be worn. All persons on track (including passengers) will be required to complete a disclaimer for the circuit and the Club.

We are strictly limited on numbers so to give the maximum number of people a chance to drive I am splitting the available slots as follows:

5 full day slots (6 hours driving possible) at £55

10 half day slots (3 hours driving possible) at £35

If more want a full day I will reduce the number of half day slots available as bookings are taken bearing in mind I have to sell all slots to avoid taking a financial hit on the event.

To confirm your place I need an email setting out your preferred slot type followed by a cheque for the appropriate amount payable to "Tipec Central" in the post - please send me a PM and I will advise address for posting.

Receipt of cheque secures your place :D

See you there!

This is a great way of seeing what you and your car are capable and you're only competing against yourself.

The prices are very reasonable.

Well done Paul.

Well done mate.

Where else can you get a full or half day on track at anything near that price with no noise limit

See you there all being well

If I cannot get there due to an unforseen at least I can listen to the music from about 30 miles away!

Bends are more fun (unless you're a scuba diver) :D

Hi :)

Well it goes around bends as well as any 928 which is pretty well, and with the 10 inch wide rears, it goes around better I think :)

Has the track got any timing gear ?

All the best Brett :)
