no sympathy left in this word ! if I join the exhaust with a section of pipe is that legal and MOt able?

Hi :)

Perfectly legal as long as its NOT leaking....i.e it has to be gas tight...

Try...exhaust clamps and exhaust cement to seal........

ok as long as its not replacing a silencer box i think

I was once told by an MOT tester that leaks are OK as long as the exhaust is not "leaking to excess" whatever that means 8)
