“Original” … nope.

“South” … nope.

Oh well, I’m out. Anyone else?

Do they want a 944 Turbo?
My car is tidy and totally standard apart from Teardrop mirrors and clear indicators.

Give the guy a quick phone and find out. Given the short notice, I reckon they’ll be glad to get any car at all.

I will do that on Wednesday.
The late last week the brake light warning switch illuminated so I bought a full set of pads and shoes. Today when we dismantled them brakes at my brothers garage we discovered it was a fault with the sensor and the brakes are not 50"% worn. Since Gaydon is on Sunday I degreased and cleaned the insides of the wheels and we gave the calipers a new coat of yellow. Our local Halfords had no caliper black.... my excuse.

I phoned up Paul from Classic Cars. He is really impressed with TiPEC and the number of replies he has had from us in the short space of time since he made contact. Another larger club he contacted have yet to get back to him. Paul hopes to be at Gaydon so look out for a guy about 5' 8" with a huge camera bag.

Stephen

I've just read his thank you note. It'll be a nice day out for someone and seeing your car on the newstand is worth the effort.
