Evening all,

I've finally managed to get hold of a set of teardrop door mirrors off a 993. Does anyone know the part numbers for the door mirror mounts to fit onto my 944S2?

Also, does anyone know the wiring configuration? Apparently, there are 5 wires on the teardrop mirrors and only 4 wires on the flag mirrors.

Cheers,

Ben :bounce:

I have the base part numbers as 945.731.241.00 and 945.731.242.00

But best to check you have all the other bits from the 968 PET

Jim & Dave,

Thanks so much for the useful information you have supplied.

Dave - Is there a similar manual available for the 944?

Regards,

Sorry to offend, but did not think a little light hearted(if factual)humour would upset you, maybe I was wrong, however we have always been a fairly jovial croud on here

Hi,

Looking good. Can't wait to get my bases and get everything sprayed ready for fitting.

Hi Rich,

Had a quick ring round to see who could do the best price. Managed to get the bases from OPC in Leeds for £27.50 + VAT each. Mirror rubbers £1.92 + VAT each. I thought that was a good result - occassionally the OPC's can come up with the goods at a good price.

I've seen robbers on Ebay trying to sell a pair of bases for £95 + postage.
