Hi all,
Has anyone retrofitted a original cruise control to a 944 S2 ? How hard is it, is the wiring already in the loom ?
Thanks Neal

Mine has it fitted as original. There should be a big fat 7 pin plug in the right hand back of the engine bay near the bulkhead. There should be a socket in the left foot well near the bonnet pull. Take a wee look in these places and this will tell you if the loom is there.

If it is you need, actuator, control unit, throttle cable, control stalk and probably the bottom half of the steering column shroud. If it isnt there its a big job to wire the whole thing up.

I dont think the system changed through the lifespan of the 944... Our American cousins are regularly flogging this stuff on ebay and rennlist.
