Just got it back from the body shop. They did the whole thing for £500 which is amazing. Removed screen. Repaired A post. Repainted roof & sunroof. Cut out rust & fitted new metal in rear wheel arch. (Like Zolas) Painted passenger door & rear wing. Also mirror & hubs. The passenger side window was always lazy. It zips up & down smartly now so they must have cleaned it as well. Can't even fault the paint job. Now all resprayed except a bit a the back end. Inside was really dirty so I've been cleaning it up & refitting the trim from when I fixed the sunroof. Put a new sunroof seal on (internal) to tidy it up. Bit tight that but hope it will settle. Stiched the rip in the drivers seat. (Think I spent enough for this year!) Just to change the power steering pump & refit the bridge spoiler. Need to ditch the foam under the bonnet. And a good bufty & she'le do for Gaydon. :D

You'll enjoy that job.

Yes. Been putting it off. Don't mind pulling off the foam but what to do with the mess underneath! Don't fancy chucking thinners around. Will end up repainting the front end again if I'm not careful.

I lay a blanket over the engine and then used a wallpaper scraper to remove all the foam stuff, saved on a load of mess but still got to figure out what to do with the glue that was underneath.
