Sweet smell of oil!

Hi All,

When out giving the old bird a bit of hello I get the smell of oil inside the car, I know this is due the airflow via the tailgate of rear light units when the roof is up. The question is can you put Castrol R30 :mrgreen:

in with the fuel, I put a cap full in my motor bike with every fill up which gives the lovely smell you get down the pit lane

. Would this work on the 944 or would it cause problems

Methanol? I am on about what goes in the car

Will R30 (Racing oil) mess up the injectors

Long term yes. castor oil (which is where the name Castrol comes from) gums up engines which is why I don't fly it in model aircraft any more.
I think R351 is the degummed version which would be better.
