My front spoiler on the right side has 'faded' from the body colour of the rest of the car and I'm in need of some suggestions of where to take it to have it possibly resprayed/rematched. I live in Bloxwich near Walsall so I'd appreciate somewhere near to where I live if possible.

Thanks :D

Long way from me. But I had the whole front end done last winter. Both wings. Bonnet, spoiler, bumper. All dismatled & sprayed properly in clear coat. It's only picked up a couple of chips. It was pebble dashed. £500. Think in the credit crunch it should be less now. Some sort of guide price for you. :)

Hi there, have you tried some kind of paint restorer/renovator? Its a bit like polish but removes paint oxidation (sounds like it could be what has happened on your spoiler). Halfords and Meguires do some. Hope this may be of some help?

Matt.

Thanks to both for your suggestions... I'll make some enquiries!
I'll put a photo up of the finished article before and after when I decide what to do.

Much obliged.. :)

paint renovator only works on flat colours. with metallics its the paint underneath the laquer thats faded not surface oxidation.
