Probably not the right place to post this but was the 924 cab a Porsche in house thing? or did they farm it out to someone?

I have also seen (and some-where have some rather poor photo’s of) an early 944 conversion. Left hand drive, and over time it has been updated with S2 style parts, so it looks little different to a standard 944 Cabrio.

At some point I am hoping to A) continue the articles in Porsche Post on the progress of ours, and B) put together a full article on the 924 Cabrios I have seen, history and so on.

Claire, I know someone who has(had) an early LHD cab. It is around 1985ish with all S2 running gear & was custard yellow. His name is Frank, he is German & is on Titanic.

Would be interested in seeing the articles especially in All Torque if poss?
