 Post subject: 911 power steering

Hi
Have 911 3.2 which does not have power steering, must admit finding it bit hard to get used to after my 944 S2, has anyone ever done a conversion to power steering. be grateful for any info

I haven't heard of anyone converting a 3.2 to power steering, it must have been done though.

You need to take yourself off to the Gym and do a few curls, I'll send my Mrs round to park it for you :lol:

My 3.2 has 71/2 wide rims on the front and its fine

As the 964 had it fitted as standard and bodyshell is vitually the same i would have thought it was possible to retrofit. Check out on the pump mounting on the 964 engine you may be able to make similar mounting on the SC block, line runs etc should not be a problem. Could buy complete system from a scrap car
