I have never considered a Porsche before, but today whilst showing my classic bike to somebody, he let me have a drive in his 944 s2. I am very impressed I must say but, seems all a bit too good to be true! 108000 on clock, good all round condition, with black leather, and a song at 2 grand! Now what do you all think? Is it too good to be true?
I have looked around, and it does seem very cheap.

It's cheap at £2k.

Has it been serviced? When were the belts last changed? Any rot on the sills?

Hi it is a black interior, leather seats. and I cannot see any rot, but the sills are covered by the bodykit... is this normal?

Bodykit not standard on S2.

Can you take some pictures?

I could ask him if i may! sounds like it is too good to be true.... apparently it has FSH and belts are done... It does drive straight tho. I probably will not buy it, but he says he really wanted to part-ex for my bike. What is source of spares like?

It has plastic covers on the sills so a sort of body kit, worth a tap test on the floor inside the inner sill area.
2K, is a bit cheap as if it's decent would pull at least 3k. Find out if anyone has ever checked the camchain, as at that mileage it needs doing NOW not difficult or around 200 quid. I assume it is on good rubber?
Parts are easy & most are reasonable cost, club members get 10% or better at most places. Discs are 50 quid a corner, pads are 60 quid an axle set. Clutch & belts are biggie jobs around 800 pounds & circa 500 depending what needs doing, but lots of info around in places like this so possible to do yourself.

Thanks Jim. I am really in a quandry now, as I am tempted to buy the car, do anything that needs doing then move it on! I really do not have time for another project though.

Just been chatting to my mrs, and we have decided against the porsche... Too many projects, not enough spare time. If anyone wants one I know where one is!!
